Juju & Jordash

Biography

Both Juju and Jordash had been playing instruments from a very early age; Juju guitar and Jordash keys. Their musical journey lead them through a variety of genres (post-rock, jazz, ethnic and electronic music), before fate brought them together in their hometown of Haifa, Israel. Their strong bond was formed during a stretch of weekly bebop-sessions. But they officially joined forces in 2003, releasing their first EP on one of Detroit’s most legendary underground imprints, Psychostasia. Other EP’s followed on acclaimed labels around the world, like Real Soon (London), Cisco (Tokyo) and Deep Explorer (Madrid). Operating from Amsterdam since 20003 they have befriended and joined the Dekmantel posse, who chose Juju & Jordash’s debute album as their first ever release.
